I designed an intelligent assistant that analyzes and enhances CV completeness within company's internal profile system. Inspector Seppo helps consultants maintain excellent profiles.
This AI-powered tool addresses three key challenges:
Profile Quality: Helping consultants maintain comprehensive, up-to-date profiles that accurately reflect their expertise and experience
User Experience: Streamlining the profile management process with clear guidance, automated checks, and personalized recommendations
Resource Allocation: Enabling People Leads to efficiently match consultants with projects through better visibility into skills and availability
The solution focuses on creating an engaging, intuitive interface that encourages profile completion while respecting user workflows and privacy requirements.
The initial phase focused POC. Hence low effort / high value user needs. Using Material UI framework as the base, I created a custom style guide aligning with company's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across the application.
This systematic approach helped maintain design consistency while ensuring both usability and brand alignment. The Material UI framework provided a robust foundation, which was customized to match company's visual identity through careful application of brand colors, typography, and design patterns.
I also conduct thinking aloud testing and qualitative interviews with actual users. These researches played crucial role for final result.
The AI capabilities were integrated based on the research. Due to limitations, the AI process is manual and user-controlled, ensuring privacy and precise interaction. The flow and screenshots below illustrate how users can leverage AI to enhance their profiles while maintaining control over their data.
During the process each design created together with developers based on prompts that are created throughout the work.
Future: The planned enhancements for this project encompass comprehensive improvements across multiple domains, including an enhanced instructional design featuring visuals and updated text, a refined recommendation system, improved visual indicators for missing information, and the implementation of new animations and rewards to enhance user engagement. The project will also incorporate role-specific AI prompts for content generation and enhanced error handling mechanisms to improve user feedback. Technical improvements will focus on optimizing flow conditions and edge cases, enhancing hover interactions, and refining the search functionality to create a more seamless user experience.
